Julia & Sofia’s was founded in 2017 in the charming town of Sedgefield with a simple mission: to bring a genuine, intimate Italian dining experience to our community. What began as a vision to share family recipes and warm hospitality has blossomed into a beloved local destination where authentic flavors and fine wines come together in perfect harmony.

Staff were friendly and easily changed a glass wine, no hassle. The girlfriend simply chose the wrong wine for her tasting. Food was nicely presented, tasty food and we didn't have to wait long.

What amazing service and the food was brilliant, the waiters were so attentive and polite. What a lovely night we had. We ordered the mussels in white wine and garlic sauce and potato skins both were cooked to perfection the mussels lovely and tender and the sauce was brilliant. For main we ordered penna inferno which was absolutely brilliant. We also ordered the fettuccine Alfredo the chicken was so soft and the sauce was so rich it was beautiful. We got a garlic bread which was also cooked to perfection will definitely be returning what an amazing authentic restaurant. Also for an Italian resturant the prices are fabulous.

Dropped by as passing through at lunchtime. Family of four adults and one young child. Greeted warmly by the proprietor and offered a table of our choice. Food was excellent, as was the attentive service. Lovely surroundings and atmosphere. An absolute pleasure. Great pizzas and a perfect steak. 5***** all day long. We will return!

Super restaurant. They were pretty busy at Saturday but waiter found a table for us two. We ordered cakzone and chips. Food was definitely worth for that money .

I went to this restaurant on a business trip and the food was simply amazing. Very good value for the money and polite and funny staff. I found the experience very lovely and I would come back in the future and recommend it to anyone in the area!

Absolutely loved it. Wanted go somewhere new for a change and read the reviews on Google so far. It sold it for us as we reserved table for lunch. Friendly attentive Staff polite and helpful. Food was incredible. Will definitely be coming back soon and will spread recommendations to friends and family. Prices may seem pricey for certain dishes as mentioned in other reviews but having said that the only pricey items are your premium dishes, e.g steaks, fish courses etc dishes you would expect pay little more for. Pizzas & Pasta were usual prices and starters Hot and Cold were usual prices. I saw nothing that I deemed too expensive. Portions were good and Food was delicious.
